Absolutely unacceptable scenes were announced by the press center of the prosecutor’s office in Plovdiv. In the city under the hills, a very interesting case begins.
The defendant is K.P.S. The same person was convicted on the date of the act – 01.07.2021 and was in the detention room of the Third RU – Plovdiv, where there was another detained person.
K.P.S. told one of the policemen that he was smoking a cigarette, to which he received a reply that smoking is prohibited in the district. The defendant did not like the answer and he started banging loudly on the doors and walls, damaged the CCTV camera and started shouting that he was going to break everything.
The employees calmly explained to him that there were rules in the building, but the defendant continued to shout and make threats that he would set the whole building on fire. In order to restrain the defendant’s aggressive actions, the officers attempted to handcuff him, whereupon the defendant became even more aggressive, flailing his arms, kicking his legs, and began hitting the officers. In this way, he caused Z.I. trauma to the head and R.V. trauma in the chest area with the presence of hemorrhaging on the chest.
3 charges have been brought against KPS – for a crime under Article 320a of the Criminal Code, for having threatened to commit a crime under Article 330 of the Criminal Code / to set fire to the building of the Third RU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Plovdiv/, and two charges under Art. 131, para. 2, item 4, in conjunction with Art. 130, para. 2 of the Criminal Code, for causing slight bodily harm to Ž.I.Z. during the performance of his duties, resulting in trauma in the area of the head and against R.V.A., during the performance of his duty, resulting in trauma to the chest area. The case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, January 24.
