Arsenal Vs MU Draw 1-1 in the First Half

London

The 1-1 score closed the first half of the big match Premier League between Arsenal vs Manchester United. Both teams had a number of good chances, but only managed to score one goal each.

Playing at the Emirates Stadium, Sunday (22/1/2023), Arsenal already gave a threat in the 3rd minute through Thomas Partey’s left-footed shot, but deviated from the target. In the 9th minute, Gabriel Martinelli’s long-range shot also failed to aim at the goal.

MU, who were depressed, actually took the lead in the 17th minute. Marcus Rashford cut off Arsenal’s attack, then the wild ball was controlled by Bruno Fernandes and returned to Rashford.

After outwitting Partey, the 25-year-old striker fired a long-range shot that nestled in the left corner of the Arsenal goal without Aaron Ramsdale being able to block it. United lead 1-0.

It didn’t take long for Arsenal to equalize the score. In the 24th minute, Granit Xhaka’s cross was successfully struck Eddie Nketiah with a hard header that David de Gea couldn’t stop.

MU again got a golden opportunity in the 28th minute. An attack from the right side was completed by Scott McTominay with a long-range shot that led to the right corner of the goal, but Ramsdale brilliantly brushed it off.

Score 1-1 draw lasted until halftime.
