Persona 6 and Persona 3 remake won’t be announced until next summer, insider says

Atlus has just made us very happy with the release, and also multiplatform (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC) release of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. And that’s with the recent Xbox and Switch release of Persona 5 Royal.

Persona fans who have yet to play any of these games have hundreds of hours of gameplay ahead of them, but it’s time to look to the future! After all, Persona 5 is originally a 2017 PS4 game.

Fortunately, while they haven’t been officially announced yet, the next Persona installment is already in development, and. Persona 6 could be announced next summer, besides Persona 3 Remake.

Persona 6 and Persona 3 Remake will be announced in the summer

So says an insider, “Im a Hero Too”, on the Resetera forums. We don’t know anything about this person or whether they can be trusted, but one of the Resetera moderators has approved it (as you saw on PlayStarion Lifestyle), so we’ll stick with that.

And that, well, it’s not too far fetched to say that these two highly anticipated and highly publicized games, especially now that the saga is so popular in the West (and with Spanish translations, finally), would be announced soon.

In fact, Atlus is apparently very far along with both games, and would have hoped to have announced them sooner, but have seen internal delays Atlus have decided to aim for next summer when the new Persona games will be unveiled, at the peak of the moment, with all fans coming to the saga via Game Pass or PS Plus.

Another interesting detail is that this insider says that Atlus has “another game” in development that shows “how weird Atlus is”, and so far no one on the forum has been able to guess. What more surprises might the creators of Shin Megami Tensei have in store?
