Oviedo Miguelo García, awarded as an actor in New York

Oviedo actor Miguelo García has just received the Best Actor Award at the New York International Film Festival for his performance in the film “Frente al silencio”, directed by Emilio Ruiz Barrachina. The Asturian’s work has also been recognized with a similar award at the Dubai Film Festival. The film is inspired by the book by Félix Grande “La cabellera de la shoá” and premiered at the Oviedo Philharmonic Theater. “Frente al silencio”, produced in Asturias, stars Miguelo García and the flamenco dancer Fuensanta La Moneta.
