‘Fahadh got double applause than Allu Arjun, it was a thrilling moment’
Actor and director Vineeth Srinivasan shares his experience of watching the movie Pushpa in a theater in Chennai. Vineeth also said that Fahadh Faasil got more applause than Allu Arjun who played the lead role in Pushpa. Vineet said that when he saw Fahadh, the theater shook and he was thrilled to see it.
Vineet said that he thought Allu Arjun would get more applause, but Fahad got triple applause than him. Vineet said that immediately after leaving the theater, he called Fahadh and told him about it and he only got a smile.
‘I saw Pushpa in a theater in Chennai. I went to see it the same day it was released. When Allu Arjun came, he got a standing ovation. After that the film moved forward. Shanu is shown almost towards the climax. When Shanu was actually shown, the theater shook.
I thought Allu Arjun would get more applause. Perhaps he will get more applause in Telugu. But Shanu got double and triple applause than Allu Arjun got in Chennai. I got the feeling of ‘oh my friend’. To be honest, it was a thrill.
I called Shanu immediately after the show. He only laughed when told about this incident. They don’t understand that feeling. We can get that feeling by listening to it in the theater. Shanu has grown to such a level that he gets applause,’ said Vineet.
‘Pushpa The Rise’ was a 2022 film directed by Sukumar. Part 1 of Pushpa was one of the big hits of 2022. Allu Arjun’s character as Pushpa in the film was rivaled by SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat played by Fahad Fazil.
