The child’s personality is one of the most important things in it, and the weakness of the child’s personality is one of the common problems that many parents suffer from, and they want to find an appropriate solution to eliminate it. Signs of weak personality in a child:
The baby is crying very visibly, but he is not in contact with anything that is causing it.
– A child cannot deal with friends and relatives of the same or different ages.
The child’s inability to express himself clearly and without shame, so that he is sometimes unable to ask others what he needs, even if he is one of the closest people.
The child does not have enough courage to make decisions on his own, and he usually needs someone to help him make any decisions.
The child spends his time with his mother anywhere outside the home, whether on an occasion or in a public place.
The ease with which the child is used by others, especially his friends, for his own gain.
Treatment of personality weakness in children:
There are a number of methods that may help in treating personality weakness in large numbers of children, the most important of which are the following:
Try to get your child to make many decisions on his own without relying on others, in this case simple decisions like choosing a meal.
Give your child complete freedom to express their innermost thoughts in their own way, regardless of their circumstances.
Try not to criticize your child when he expresses his inner thoughts to you.
Teach your child some simple ways to help him protect himself from any attack or violence, whether physical or psychological.
Giving your child some simple skills will help him solve many of the problems he faces.
Trying to teach the child the culture of apologizing when he makes a mistake instead of continuing to do so, in addition to criticizing everyone who wronged him.
