BC Chenôve: Maxime Gendron left us

The Basket Club de Chenôve communicated on the death, on Sunday, of Maxime Gendron, founding president of the club. After 7 years as president of the PS Chantaliste (1962-69), he spent 18 years at the BCC (1969-87). Exemplary volunteer leader, his kindness, his availability and his skills have allowed the club and the name of Chenôve to be recognized. At the BCC, Maxime Gendron formed a recognized pair with Secretary General Marcel Drouhard. He was also municipal councilor of Chenôve from 1971 to 77, and he participated in the working group for the creation of the WHO in December 1971. Under his leadership, the club reached N3 four or five years after the creation , winning a title of champion of France minimal (81-82) and a title of champion of France seniors N4 in 83-84.

Three Côte-d’Oriens in the World Cup

Alexis David and Camille Giraud (Sco Dijon) have been selected for the French junior team for the last round of the cyclo-cross World Cup, on January 29 in Besançon. Among the elites, the Côte-d’Orien licensed to AS Bisontine, Valentin Remondet (Team CX TPM), was also selected.
