According to the French newspaper L’Equipe, Slovak football stopper Milan Škriniar should transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer at the latest.
In recent weeks, the Italian media reported that the management of Inter Milan tried to extend the contract of Milan Škriniar. Nerazzurri officials reportedly offered the central defender an annual salary of 6 million euros, plus bonuses.
The Žilina soccer player played for time and did not rush his decision. The Milanese did not like that, as according to Sky Sport they should have given him time to think about it until January 20.
The deadline has already passed and L’Equipe suggest that the 27-year-old’s contract, which expires on June 30, will not be renewed. Instead, his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain is almost a done deal. As we have read, the footballer verbally agreed with the French club on a summer free transfer.
It is not excluded that it will speed up and Milan Škriniar will transfer to PSG this winter. The Parisians could offer 10 to 15 million euros for him. And what would Inter say about that? It is not known at the moment, but given that there is no chance that he will sign a new contract, the Milanese may agree to a small transfer fee.
The captain of the Slovak national football team has been a player of the “Nerazzurri” since 2017. He played 241 matches in their colors.
