At first glance, the film seems simple – about the work in the cinema of Vladimir Vysotsky in Odessa. In fact, director Anatoly Balchev had to collect video information literally bit by bit. Although it was at the legendary Odessa film studio that Vysotsky played iconic roles in the cinema and sang from the screen for the first time.
In addition to filming in films, he wrote many songs for films shot at this film studio. His directorial debut in the film “Green Van” was also planned here. But the death of Vladimir Vysotsky prevented.
