The Ministry of Health highlighted the benefits of walking for 30 minutes, noting that these minutes are few and equal to 2% of an individual’s day, but they positively affect his health.
She added that walking has positive effects with regard to fitness, blood flow, bone health, anxiety, depression, and chronic diseases, stressing the need to wear suitable walking shoes and comfortable clothes when practicing this sport.
The Ministry emphasized the benefits of walking by reviewing the experience of one of the citizens with this sport, as Abdulaziz Al-Yahya mentioned that he started to walk around 4 years ago, as he goes out at dawn and practices it for 3 and a half hours, and he repeats the same thing from sunset until the time of the evening prayer.
He added that he found in walking a protection against diseases, and it also contains activity and vitality, in addition to that walking helps burn body fat faster and in a shorter time, and it does not require effort and does not involve injuries or risks.
