Zelensky’s remarks come as speculation over Putin’s health continued to swirl throughout Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with the Russian president appearing less and less in public. He made the remarks while mentioning the possibility of peace talks between Kiev and Moscow.
“Right now I don’t know who to talk to. I’m not sure if the president of Russia is still alive,” he said.

“I don’t understand whether he is still alive or he was the one who made the decision,” he added as quoted from Daily MailFriday (20/1/2023).
So far, there is no verifiable evidence that Russia’s number one is seriously ill, let alone died.
But there is much speculation that mentions the possibility of Putin using body doubles.

Experts believe that Kremlin cronies were eager to cover up his death in an effort to hold on to power.
In May last year, British outlet Metro.co.uk reported that Putin’s health had allegedly deteriorated over the past five years and he had undergone two surgeries in two weeks.
But officials stressed that he was in good health despite statements to the contrary.
