Heavy snowfall in the night and in the morning is currently causing disabilities in the Main-Spessart district and in the western district of Würzburg. From around 10 p.m. a snow front has built up over the district and has hardly moved so far, satellite images show.

There are currently traffic problems on several routes due to broken-down trucks. Routes with inclines are particularly affected. The police operations center has so far spoken of a few accidents with body damage.

Listeners report buses, some of which have stopped at the bus stops.

The winter services are in action.

It was only on Tuesday that heavy snowfall in the city and district of Würzburg and in the Kitzingen area caused problems and also canceled lessons.
