The Radeon RT 7900 XT is generally not bad and they buy a video card, but with the Radeon RT 7900 XTX everything is difficult. Gradually NVIDIA catches up with the competitor
Reference AMD Radeon RT 7900 XTX hot and scandalous start due to poor cooling system. There were fears that problems with XTX for consumers would become a deterrent factor and they would not take the Radeon RT 7900 video cards at all, including the XT version.
According to Mindfacrory (a store in Germany), the Radeon RT 7900 XT is a good buy. Although at some point the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti surpassed its competitor in weekly sales, it is still far from absolute dominance.
On closer inspection it turns outthat sales are as follows:
- Radeon RX 7900 XTX – 1170 units and Radeon RX 7900 XT – 1865 units.
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti – 1755 units.
- RTX 4080 – 1625 units.
- RTX 4090 – 1510 units.
In the case of the Radeon, the Radeon RX 7900 XT is very predictably in the lead, and in the case of the GeForce RTX 40, the 4070 Ti pulled ahead. Both video cards are currently the cheapest in the modern line.
It is noteworthy that the Radeon RX 7900 XT surpasses the 4080 and 4090 in sales, although it itself appeared on sale later than its competitors.
