The Aemet indicates that during these days the formation of storms is expected in the northern half of the peninsula and points in the central area, especially in the afternoons, which, although it is not expected to give abundant rainfall, may be accompanied by hail and strong gusts. of wind.

Consequently, they could produce a temporary drop in temperatures where they occur and that the maximums do not reach such high values ​​in those areas. This heat wave is caused by the general stability and strong insolation, together with the entry of a very warm air mass from North Africa, which represents a significant rise in minimum and maximum temperatures in a large part of the Peninsula. .

31 PROVINCES AT YELLOW RISK. A total of 31 provinces, from eleven autonomous communities, will be at risk (yellow) or significant risk (orange) this Monday due to the heat wave, which will leave up to 43ºC at various points, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet ). In Andalusia, the provinces of Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Jaén and Seville will be at significant risk due to maximum temperatures, while Huelva will have a yellow warning. In this community, Cádiz will also have a yellow alert for coastal phenomena, like A Coruña, in Galicia.

In Aragon, Zaragoza will be at significant risk due to the high temperatures, which will also put Huesca and Teruel at risk, but less. In general, temperatures will be high in the southern half and in areas of the northern and northeastern plateau, while daytime temperatures will rise, except in the southwest, northeast and the Canary Islands, where they will drop slightly.

Secondly, cloudy intervals are expected in Galicia and the Cantabrian area, with some light rains in the western Cantabrian. In the rest of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, the skies will be slightly cloudy at first with intervals of high clouds, while in the north, center and mountains of the peninsular southeast, with diurnal cloudiness.
