A release date for Starfield will be announced “very soon,” according to Bethesda’s social media account.
Earlier this week, a Bethesda account posted a photo of Starfield to grab the attention of followers. In a follow-up comment in response to a user, the account says that a release date for Bethesda’s highly anticipated RPG will be announced “very soon”.
This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given what we know about Xbox’s plans for the coming weeks. Xbox announced a new Developer Direct last week focusing on Bethesda games like Redfall and also announced that Starfield will get its “private deep dive“.
A release date has already been discussed for this Starfield presentation, and these comments from Bethesda only heightened that anticipation. Starfield fans will no doubt be looking forward to the release date announcement when this presentation takes place.
With Starfield still slated for release in the next five months, Bethesda is long overdue for a release date for the game if the original release date of the first half of 2023 is still accurate.
