Representative from Warner Bros. spoke about ray tracing in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy, Avalanche Software’s open world Harry Potter game coming out next month on PC and consoles, will support ray tracing, and today publisher Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed which ray tracing options players will be able to customize.

In response to a question on Twitter, a Warner Bros. customer support representative. Games has confirmed that ray tracing options for shadows, reflections, and ambient shading will be available in the game. This set of options matches those seen in most of the latest ray-traced AAA games, so it’s good to know that Avalanche Software has gone for it too.

Earlier this week, a lot of other information about m appeared online thanks to the leak of the game’s official art book, such as the main story’s running time, which will be about 35 hours, new details about side content such as optional tasks and Merlin’s puzzles, and much more.

Hogwarts Legacy launches on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 10th. The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 4, and on the Nintendo Switch on July 25.

Hogwarts Legacy is an open world RPG set in a world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. Travel through familiar and new locations, explore and discover magical beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spells, upgrade talents, and become the wizard you want to be.
