A Saudi businessman bought at auction a special ticket for $2.66 million (10 million riyals) for a friendly match between the clubs of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. About it informed on his Twitter head of the entertainment department of the government of Saudi Arabia.
The ticket holder was Mushref al-Ghamdi, CEO of AqarOne, a real estate company.
Messi’s French club Paris Saint-Germain will play against Ronaldo’s Al-Hilal and An-Nasr all-star team on January 19. It is in this game that the 37-year-old Portuguese is expected to debut in Saudi Arabia.
After the match, the businessman will be able to attend the awards ceremony, enter the team locker rooms and meet with the players.
The game will take place at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh. The arena can accommodate 68 thousand spectators. Earlier it was reported that tickets for the upcoming match were sold out within minutes.
