This Wednesday, Juventus formalized the change of directors and the appointment of the new Board of Directors, thus officializing the departure of Andrea Agnelli and the entry of Gianluca Ferrero.
The shareholders were in favor of the appointment of the five directors proposed by the majority shareholder Exor (from the Agnelli family), who will replace the Board of Directors that resigned on 28 November.
Ferrero, a 60-year-old accountant, was officially sworn in as president after Agnelli resigned under pressure from a judicial investigation into alleged tax fraud.
“The Shareholders’ Meeting of Juventus Football Club SpA, which met today in Turin under the chairmanship of Andrea Agnelli, has appointed the new Board of Directors. At the end of the General Meeting, the Board of Directors met to deliberate, namely, on the appointment of corporate positions and the granting of powers to directors, as well as the appointment of members of the internal committees of the management body», says a statement from the club.
