A handful of celebrities who attended the Golden Globes last week have tested positive for Covid. Actress Jamie Lee Curtis reported on Instagram that she contracted the virus shortly after the ceremony. She wrote on Instagram on Jan. 14 about missing the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Tea Party and Critics Choice Awards, which took place in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Colin Farrell’s spokesperson has revealed that the star and fellow ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ star Brendan Gleeson are also both sick from the Golden Globes and must have missed the same dates.
Michelle Pfeiffer also missed the Critics Choice Awards
That’s not all. Michelle Pfeiffer couldn’t make it to the Critics Choice Awards for the same reason. “I’m so sorry to miss the show today. Yes, Covid,” she wrote on social media. She added that she was especially sad to miss Jeff Bridges receiving a lifetime achievement award.
To be sure not to increase the number of cases, the Critics Choice Awards announced that all participants were required to submit a negative test before entering the room.
