Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil said he would join Golkar this afternoon. The chairman of the PAN DPP, Bima Arya, said that what Ridwan Kamil had done was a brave step.
“This is a bold step, perhaps unpleasant and meets everyone’s expectations,” Bima told journalists, Wednesday (18/1/2023).
The Mayor of Bogor also said Ridwan Kamil had taken various things into account. Bima is also happy with the decision taken.
“This is good, Kang Emil gave an example that after all political struggles must go through political parties,” he said.
Bima said he was ready to work with Ridwan Kamil. He admitted that he was ready to form a coalition with Ridwan Kamil anywhere.
“Not only in KIB, they are very ready to form a coalition anywhere for the best service,” he said.
Previously, the Golkar Party said Ridwan Kamil has become part of the Golkar Party family through the 1957 Kosgoro community organization. Ridwan Kamil also stated that he would indeed join the Golkar Party.
“Tomorrow,” said RK when asked about the news that he had joined Golkar after the inauguration of the Dewi Sartika Underpass in Depok, Tuesday (17/1).
Ridwan Kamil did not explain further. He emphasized the possibility of joining the Golkar Party tomorrow alias today.
“It is possible that tomorrow afternoon we will join Golkar,” continued RK.
