RIYADH: A forum for businesswomen in the Gulf region will be launched in March in Jeddah, with the slogan ‘Gulf women between empowerment and leadership’. The forum will begin in Jeddah on March 13 and last for two days. The meeting is jointly organized by Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers, Federation of Saudi Chambers and Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The fifth meeting of the Gulf Women’s Business Forum will begin on March 23.
Around 500 delegates will participate in the meeting. Business owners, representatives of organizations supporting development projects, representatives of national and regional banks will participate in the forum. The FGCCC Forum aims to support women in the business sector through various channels. The forum will encourage women who give importance to modernization in the field of business.
FGCCC President Ajlan Al Ajlan said that the Forum for Women Businessmen will reflect the economic recovery in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The forum will also discuss the impact of women entrepreneurs on economic innovation in the GCC countries.
