Park Hang-seo just played his last game as coach Vietnam National Team. The figure nicknamed the Terminator admitted that he was very sad to have to leave.
Park Hang-seo ended his career as Vietnam coach with defeat. The Golden Star Warriors lost in the 2022 AFF Cup final to Thailand.
After drawing 2-2 in Hanoi, Vietnam lost 0-1 when playing in Thailand, Monday (16/1/2023). This result also buried Park Hang-seo’s dream of giving a sweet farewell gift to Nguyen Tien Linh et al.
Yes, Park Hang-seo will indeed leave Vietnam. After five years coaching Vietnam, he will leave when his contract expires on 31 January 2023.
Park Hang-seo himself has coached the Vietnam national team since 2017, and has led 55 matches. In detail, 26 wins were achieved, 15 draws and 14 defeats suffered.

We went through 5 years of ups and downs, happiness and hardships together. No longer sitting next to the players makes my heart heavy,” he said, reported by Thanh Nien.
“It will be a memory that I will never forget forever, especially the memorable moment and I played with the players in the Vietnam locker room. But what to do, wherever, with whom and whatever happens, I will only play football ball.”
“Looking back at the past five years, I, who have felt self-loathing, need to reflect on why, what I lost and the pain of parting with those I love. Over the past half-decade, there have been people who have been hurt by me, and I regret not knowing how to comfort them. I know I’m lacking in many ways.”
“I know how it is now, because it’s a reality. If there is pain, you have to accept it and deal with it. I have to continue on my way. And for you, personal pain and sorrow must also be overcome alone. From now on, I am no longer the head coach Vietnam National Team. My contract with VFF expires on January 31st.
