Ex-FCL player Lucas Alves is free again for the Super League – or is the Brazilian moving to Portugal?
After six months in Dubai, Lucas Alves left his employer Al-Nasr SC in Dubai. Instead of playing in the top league of the United Arab Emirates, the former Lucerne central defender is looking for a different challenge.
Lucas Alves is in demand: The physically strong Brazilian could play in Portugal’s top division after leaving Dubai. The offer is to play with an outsider club from the Iberian peninsula against the big Portuguese clubs Benfica Lisbon, Sporting Lisbon, Porto or Braga at least until the end of the season.
