Chris, a former member of the group EXO, has been officially arrested for sexually assaulting a minor.
According to Chinese entertainment media, Canadian national Chris was arrested on the 15th (local time) and imprisoned in a local detention center.
Chris is imprisoned in a detention center awaiting his final sentencing. Local lawyers expect Chris to serve a prison sentence of at least five years in prison.
Previously, Chris was charged with sexually assaulting three women, including sexually assaulting a drunken woman at his home from November to December 2020. In November of last year, the court of first trial sentenced him to 11 years and 6 months in prison for rape and 1 year and 10 months in prison for group lewdness, for a total of 13 years in prison.
After serving his sentence, Chris is expected to be deported to Canada.
