8:55 pm | Fire on ship Twente Canal
There has been a fire on a ship in the Twente Canal in Delden. Smoke was released, but the fire is under control.
The fire raged in the fore hold. No one was hurt.
6:30 pm | Work N18 takes longer
The repair work on the N18 near Haaksbergen will not last until midnight, but until at least 1.30 am tonight. This is reported by Rijkswaterstaat. A new guardrail must be installed at the accident site.

The accident was caused by a motorcyclist who crashed. He was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

The N18 between Haaksbergen and Enschede is completely closed after an accident with a truck. For unknown reasons, the truck overturned and ended up upside down on the road and in the verge. It is not yet clear whether the accident resulted in personal injury. Traffic in both directions must be diverted.
9:35 am | Crossing woman hit by car on pedestrian crossing
A pedestrian was injured in a collision on Oostriklaan in Deventer this morning. The woman was hit by a passing car as she crossed the road on a zebra crossing. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. The car had to be towed because the windshield was shattered. The police have questioned the driver of the car about the cause of the accident. And traffic had to be temporarily regulated.

The fire brigade has evacuated four houses because of a raging fire in Deventer. It concerns an attic fire in a house on the Bronsinklaan in Colmschate. The fire was caused by a tumble dryer. The residents were able to get out in time.
