Sendai 89ERS has reached an agreement with Yasunori Aoki for the 2022-23 season.
In addition, Aoki will be permanently transferred from Hiroshima Dragonflies to Sendai 89ERS.
Watanabe was forced to leave the club for a long period of time due to an injury, and the club has been looking for ways to reinforce the PG position.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone involved in the Hiroshima Dragonflies who sent Aoki out. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Aoki, who decided to take on a new challenge in Sendai despite the difficult timing of the middle of the season.
Aoki has been captain of prestigious teams such as Ohori High School attached to Fukuoka University and University of Tsukuba, and after that he has accumulated experience in Kawasaki, Hiroshima and B1. I expect that he will add new energy and tempo to Sendai’s basketball with his energetic physical defense and creative ability that motivates his teammates.
Please support the Niners with the addition of Aoki with Rhubarb.
