No Iwan Budianto be included in the electoral roll PSSI. Majority shareholder Arema FC registered as a Candidate for Vice Chairman of PSSI.
It is known that the announcement was made by the Election Committee (KP) after closing registration on Monday (16/1/2023). Of the 17 names of Cawaketum, the name Iwan Budianto is one of them.
The inclusion of the name Iwan Budianto is quite surprising. This is because the man who currently still has the status of PSSI Waketum has given a statement that he will never want to nominate or be nominated to become a PSSI official.
“It is possible for the names concerned to be unwilling but still to be nominated. That’s why we will announce them first,” said KP head Amir Burhanuddin regarding the inclusion of the name Iwan Budianto, when giving a statement.
“That’s why we will verify it with the support of other documents. These are still prospective candidates,” he added.
Amir explained, the entry of the names of these candidates can be done in two ways. There are those who register themselves, or are registered as PSSI members.
For those registered by other parties, the KP will ask for the availability of the name nominated. If the registered person is not willing, then his name will be crossed out.
“From these data it is possible that there are names that can no longer be nominated or feel they are not nominated but instead are nominated members,” said Amir.
“That’s why a verification stage will be carried out later which will then be announced as a temporary list of candidates. The closest stage after this is submitting the shortage of files that must be completed on January 19-21,” he said.
Apart from Iwan Budianto, there are other familiar names in the other PSSI Cawaketum exchanges. There are Ratu Tisha, Ahmad Riyadh, Azrul Ananda, Hasani Abdul Gani, Iwan Budianto, to Yunus Nusi.
Meanwhile there were also five names proposed to become Caketum. Meanwhile, there are 78 candidates for PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) members.
