In November last year, 136.2 thousand foreign* and local guests were served in Latvian tourist accommodation, which is 2.1 times more than in November 2021, according to Central Statistical Office data.

Guests spent 243.2 thousand nights in tourist accommodations, which is 90.8% more compared to November of last year, when the strict stay-at-home period was in force in Latvia until the middle of the month.
In the eleven months of 2022, 2 million guests were received in Latvian tourist accommodation – by 66.8% more than in the eleven months of 2021, however, compared to the corresponding time period before the pandemic in 2019, there is a 24% drop in the number of guests served.
In November 2022, 54.9% or 74.8 thousand of all guests served in tourist accommodations were foreign visitors, which is 2.9 times more than a year earlier.
Most foreign guests received from Lithuanian (11.8 thousand), Estonian (10.3 thousand), Great Britain (5.9 thousand), Germany (5.1 thousand), Finland (3.9 thousand), Poland (3.3 thousand), SwedishNorway and Ukraine (2.9 thousand).
