THE Masked Singer fans all said the same thing after Otter teased a major clue during tonight’s episode.
Over the past few weeks, viewers of the ITV show have been racking their brains as to who the famous behind the costume is.
Viewers think Catherine Tate is the celebrity claiming to be Otter[/caption]
Now they are convinced that Otter could not be other than actress and comedian Catherine Tate.
After their performance, the character referenced one of the characters from The Catherine Tate Show.
Otter asked viewers, “Am I surprised?” — which is schoolgirl Lauren’s signature catchphrase.
Many took to Twitter to share their theory.
One said: “#TheMaskedSinger @MaskedSingerUK otter myst to be Catherine Tate…. Am I disturbed.”
“Scratch my previous tweet regarding Otter, I think it’s Catherine Tate! #TheMaskedSinger,” added another.
A third added: “#TheMaskedSinger otter Catherine Tate hint ‘am I bothered though’.”
Viewers watching at home aren’t the only ones who think so.
Judge Jonathan Ross also shared the idea that Catherine could be Otter.
The actress isn’t the only person to make a suggestion.
Taking to social media, a number of fans said actress Dawn French or Fiona Shaw was the woman wearing the jumpsuit.
Others thought the singing star could be TV star and media personality Laura Whitmore or actress Pauline McLynn.
Some of the judges also agreed with the fan theories.
Mo Gilligan guessed actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge, while Davina McCall also suggested Fiona Shaw.
Rita Ora thought Otter was singer Una Healy because she was on the TV show Splash.
Jonathan Ross focused on the clover shown and, as fans guessed, Irish star Pauline McLynn.
