As we all know, in early January there was the CES 2023 event which was held in Las Vegas, United States of America. One of the smartphone manufacturers who also introduced their devices was Samsung, which introduced the Galaxy A14 5G.
Interestingly, this smartphone seems to have pocketed TKDN certification from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. From this certificate, the device that is strongly suspected of being the Galaxy A14 5G has the model number SM-A146P with a TKDN value of 39.10 percent.
Yes! It seems that not only the 5G model will be officially launched in Indonesia. Samsung will also launch the Galaxy A14 4G model. This was also reinforced by the pocketed TKDN certification, with the model number SM-A145F and having a TKDN value of 37.60 percent.
So far, the specifications we can already know are the Galaxy A14 5G. This smartphone will have a 6.6-inch screen and have a refresh rate of 90Hz. The bezel looks still very thick, like an affordable smartphone and on the back it will be covered with a plastic panel.
Meanwhile, for the kitchen spur, Samsung will embed the Dimensity 700 SoC from MediaTek which has 7nm fabrication technology. This smartphone will run on the Android 13 operating system, which has been coated with the One UI Core 5 interface.
The RAM options offered are 4GB and 6GB, with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. However, there is no news yet whether Samsung will bring all the options offered or only market the highest RAM and ROM options, we’ll just have to wait!
Of course, another sector that you should also know about is camera support. On the front, Samsung will equip the Galaxy A14 5G with a 13 MP f/2.0 camera. It is said this camera supports 1080p video recording with a frame rate of 30fps.
Meanwhile, on the back, there will be three cameras arranged vertically in the upper left corner. The main camera is 50 MP and is accompanied by two other lenses, each of which is a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth camera for bokeh photos.
For matters of power supply, the Galaxy A14 5G will be strengthened by a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and has support for 15W fast charging. For security, this smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor that is placed on the side, to be precise, on the power button.
When it was first introduced at CES 2023, the Galaxy A14 5G came with a choice of Black, Light Green, Dark Red and Silver colors. For the price itself, the smartphone is marketed at around 200 euros or Rp. 3.2 million. However, there has been no official news for prices in Indonesia.
