Rodrigo Mora, a 15-year-old forward, made his debut this Sunday for FC Porto B in the draw against Tondela (1-1), becoming the youngest footballer ever to play in professional competitions in Portugal.
The still juvenile entered at 90+1 to replace Nilton Varela, who scored the only goal for the young dragons in the match.
With 15 years, eight months and 10 days, Rodrigo Mora surpassed the feat achieved by Ricardinho, a midfielder who, in the 2021/2022 season, aged 16, made his debut with Mafra’s jersey against Leixões.
