According to rumors, the 7.0 update for Playstation 5 will probably get full support for Discord and cloud playing of Playstation 5 games.
In May 2021, Jim Ryan announced that an integration of Discord for Playstation 5 was on the way. This happened in connection with Sony and Discord announcing a collaboration. It was possible later in the year to link your Discord user to the console if you lived in the US, but the service has not been fully supported, which will now come in the 7.0 update. According to Henderson, the update that includes full Discord support and cloud gaming for Playstation 5 games will be released in March and the public beta will launch soon.
