According to several rumors, the 2024 or 2025 Apple Watch Ultra could be the first to feature an Apple-designed micro-LED display. After that, Apple’s product series such as iPhone, iPad and Mac can also be equipped with the new screen technology, according to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman in his newsletter Power On during Sunday.
According to reports, Apple has spent six years developing a micro-LED technology that will make images look almost as if painted directly on the screen glass, with better viewing angles, better color reproduction and improved brightness.

The goal should be to take the technology to all of Apple’s most important products. However, for Mac it may take longer due to the complexity of the technology. It could possibly be ten years before all Mac models have a micro-led screen.
