You will Camel Soon to be off iTunes from its last platform — Windows, Microsoft has announced that it’s adding preview versions of three new Apple apps — Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple devices — as part of the Windows 11 Insider Preview release.
Apple Music will cater to a Windows user’s local music library as well as give them access to Apple Music’s paid service. Apple TV will bundle your Apple TV+ subscription with original content, as well as content from Paramount+, AMC+, Showtime, Starz, and more. You’ll also find your iTunes purchased movies. Here you will be able to rent new releases.
And it will handle syncing with other Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod), as well as local backup and restore and emergency software updates—this functionality has been carried over to MacOS’ Finder when an iPhone is connected.
This makes podcasts and books the only meaningful functions of iTunes that have been excluded from Apple Music, TV, and Devices.
