The Ministry of Universal Health has 24 vaccination points this week where they can go without the need to make an appointment for those who are pending the second booster dose of the vaccine against coronavirus or the flu vaccine. Two of them are in Castellon.
Thus, there are scheduled vaccination days without an appointment at the health center of Segorbe and in the of Beacon. The first will give vaccines against the coronavirus and against the flu friday january 20 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on Saturday, January 21, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. The Almenara health center will have open day from Monday to Friday, always from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
The influenza vaccine is indicated for people over 65 years of age, pregnant women or women who have just given birth and those who are at risk of suffering complications due to underlying pathologies, as well as health and social health personnel and those who live in centers for the elderly or with functional diversity. For its part, vaccination against Covid 19 has already been opened to all people of legal age who request it.
In addition to these walk-in points, the vaccination campaign continues in health centers, which should be contacted to arrange a day and time to get vaccinated against covid and, if indicated, also against the flu.
Balance of inoculated doses by provinces
In the Valencian Community, 931,881 booster doses have already been administered against COVID-19, both to people over 60 years of age and to risk groups. By provinces, 351,978 doses have been inoculated in Alicante, 103,744 in Castellón and 476,159 in the province of Valencia.
In addition, the health centers of the Valencian Community have already administered 1,036,343 doses of the flu vaccine to people who belong to risk groups and have recommended immunization. By provinces, 529,921 have been administered in Valencia, 386,248 in Alicante and 120,174 in Castellón.
