A few hours before Algeria’s victory against Libya (1-0) on Friday, the opening ceremony of the CHAN 2022 at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki, near Algiers. For the occasion, Madiba’s grandson, Mandela appeared gave a very engaging speech. “Let us remember that Madiba said: our freedom will not be complete until Palestine is independent. We stand together to fight for the independence of Palestine. Free Palestine!“, proclaimed the celebrity several times in front of a delirious stadium. Incidentally, Zwelivelile Mandela took care to recall that a “last colony is present in Africa: Western Sahara »which he denounced “l’oppressionby Morocco. Morocco, which was absent from the opening ceremony, welcomed this declaration like a mortar shell, as the speech was heard all over the planet.
In an exclusive interview with the Algerian international channel AL24news, Mandela’s grandson reiterated his commitment to the Saharawi cause and the Palestinian cause and denounced the last two colonizations still active in the world in Western Sahara and in Palestine.
Just after the media release of Mandela appeared in Algeria, the Makhzen tried to discredit him, attacking Mandela’s grandson on social networks.
More than ever, Nelson Mandela’s grandson was the political weapon that brought down all the destabilization plans of the Makhzen.
