Jakarta –
Some time ago user iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max complained about the appearance of strange horizontal lines on the screen. Now Apple says it will fix the problem soon.
As previously reported, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users have complained about a horizontal line that appears every time their cellphone is activated or when it is turned on from sleep.
From a number of photos shared on Reddit and the Apple Support forum, the horizontal line appears in a variety of colors, but mostly it looks like yellowish green. The amount also varies, some are only one line but there are also many that almost fill the screen.
After several weeks, Apple finally opened its voice and responded to this complaint. The company made by Steve Jobs said it was investigating the problem and would fix it soon.
Apple confirmed that the problem was not caused by a hardware glitch. They say they are preparing an update iOS to solve the problem.
“Users may report that when they turn on or unlock their phone, they briefly see a horizontal line appear on the screen,” Apple said in its memo, as quoted by MacRumors, Sunday (1/15/2023).
“Apple is aware of this issue and a software update is coming soon that will resolve the issue.”
Apple itself has just tested iOS 16.3 involving developers and several users who are members of the public beta trial. However, the update may only be released in a few weeks.
Perhaps Apple will release iOS 16.2.1, following iOS 16.2 which was available last month, to address this and other bugs experienced by users.
