“His children visit him, but they are his only connection to the world. It’s like he doesn’t want to face reality anymore, and that’s just sad,” a source told Radar Online.
He was last seen in public in October 2021 during a Los Angeles Lakers game, where he came with his 30-year-old son Ray.
“Jack is in contact with only a few relatives – especially Ray, his protégé, of whom he is very proud,” Radar Online further quotes.
Nicholson has six children with five wives. However, he was married only once. “His children are his only connection to the world. He no longer looks for friends and they fear he will die a lonely death like Marlon Brando,” the source added.
Nicholson lives in the house of Marlon Brando, with whom he was friends and bought the house shortly after his death. “Jack and I have been friends for many years, but he doesn’t leave the house anymore. I think his son and daughter are taking care of him. Mulholland Drive is a tight-knit community and everyone is worried about him,” said a friend of the actor.
