Action robber motor override driver taxibike online (ojol), AH (40), on Jl Cikini Raya, Menteng, Central Jakarta (Central Jakarta). Residents said that this was the first time this had happened.
“There haven’t been any for years, it’s the first time, there haven’t been any since I was little, especially if mugging criminals often see them on the side of the road. As for robbers, there aren’t any, it’s just the first time,” said Golam Reza (29 ) when met on Jl Cikini Raya, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday (14/1/2023).
Reza admitted that he was shocked by the robbery in the Jl Cikini Raya area that happened to the ojol. Reza, who is a parking attendant at that location, is also worried that the diners at the restaurant will feel scared.
“Surprised because I’m here to earn money too, I’m afraid the usual people who come here are scared because of robbery,” he said.
He hopes the four ojol robbers will be caught soon. He said there were many parking attendants working along Jl Cikini Raya.
“The hope is that Jalan Cikini Raya will be safer, so be it customer-customer Those who come feel comfortable because this is a place to earn money and parking for children,” said Reza.
“Hopefully they can be caught quickly because here the land is for making money too, for parking,” he continued.
The same thing was expressed by another resident named Cecep (49). Cecep said that the ojol robbery was the first time this had happened.
“Never before, besides it happened at 03.00 WIB. Usually it’s safe here,” said Cecep.
Cecep was also surprised to learn that there was robbery at that location. He hopes that the perpetrators will be caught soon so that Jl Cikini Raya can be safe again.
“Yes, I’m surprised that something like this suddenly happened. I hope it’s fast seized culprit,” he said.
Previously, the video of the robbery of AH (40) went viral on social media. Menteng Police Criminal Investigation Unit Kompol Kukuh Islami said that the incident began when AH was dropping off his passengers in the Senen area, Central Jakarta. On his way home, AH was suddenly pinned down by 2 motorcycles and kicked.
“So the ojol is over drive passengers in the Senen area, then he returned because he lives in the Menteng area,” said Kukuh when contacted detikcom on Friday (13/1/2023).
“So he came home through that road and was picked up by two motorbikes, four people in total. Then after being squeezed, he was immediately kicked by the person,” he added.
AH, continued Kukuh, had put up a fight. However, he was beaten up by these thugs until his motorbike was confiscated.
“Then the ojol wanted to be beaten up, he dodged, ran, then the motorbike was taken away. Only the motorbike (was confiscated),” added Kukuh.
