The tornado occurred in two hamlets of Paseh District, Regency Sumedang. This condition damaged 10 houses owned by residents.
Reported detikjabarHead of Paseh Sub-District Agus Sujatmiko said the damage occurred in Cilegok Hamlet, Paseh Kidul Village and Cilalaren Hamlet, Paseh Kaler Village.
“The real data will follow later because tonight the data collection is still ongoing,” said Agus, Friday (23/1/2023) evening.
Agus said the majority of the damage occurred on the roofs of houses that were carried away by the wind. “So far, the average house damage reports are on the roof or roof tiles,” said Agus.
Apart from the house, continued Agus, damage also hit a shop. “Like the location where I am standing now, the stall also suffered damage to the roof,” he said.
Agus said there have been no reports of casualties or injuries due to this incident. “There are currently no reports of victims and hopefully there won’t be any,” he said
