Axéréal is going to set up a craft brewery near the Chambord estate in Bracieux, in the Loir-et-Cher department. According to the forecasts of this agricultural cooperative located in Olivet (Loiret), the site should go into production in 2024. It will have a capacity of one million litres. It will enable the group to produce a new brand of beer called Château de Chambord, a superior quality product made from barley and malt. The bottles will be marketed in local, national and international markets.
As part of this collaboration, the Domaine du Château de Chambord will ensure the water supply. This will be drawn from the natural sources located all around. For its part, the agricultural cooperative group will provide the raw materials, including barley grown around the site. It will also take charge of the production part with the help of its subsidiary Boortmalt, which specializes in malting techniques.
