KOMPAS.com – Two devices that both support 5G network, Infinix Zero Ultra and Realme 10 Pro Plus, which has been officially launched in Indonesia. However, Infinix launched its cellphone earlier, October 6, 2022, than Realme, which was just released in January 2023.
Apart from the difference in the launch date, the two devices come with specifications that are not too different. For example, they both carry AMOLED screens, refresh rates of 120 Hz, and rely on a chipset made by MediaTek, Dimensity 920.
In Indonesia, the price tag for the Infinix Zero Ultra costs IDR 6,499,000 for the 8/256GB variant, while the Realme 10 Pro Plus sells for IDR 6,999,000 for the 12/256 GB variant.

With a price difference of around IDR 500,000, what are the differences, advantages and similarities between the two devices?
Screen and camera
In the aspect of the screen, both of them simply present fairly similar specifications. Infinix Zero Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen and offers Full HD Plus resolution, refresh rate, 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness level of 900 nits.
Realme 10 Pro Plus is also equipped with an AMOLED screen, it’s just that the size is slightly smaller, which is 6.7 inches. While the refresh rate offered reaches 120 Hz, the max brightness level is slightly smaller, 800 nits. Even so, the screen is equipped with 100 percent DCI-P3 technology and PWM Dimming 2,160 Hz.

Both screens are decorated with punch holes. It’s just that the hole on Infinix is in the top center of the screen, while the Realme cellphone is at the top left of the screen.
On paper, Infinix Zero Ultra comes with a more capable main camera. The camera configuration consists of a 200 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP depth sensor camera. 32 MP selfie camera.
Meanwhile, the Realme 10 Pro Plus comes with a main camera with a resolution of 108 MP, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro camera and a 16 MP selfie camera. However, both devices are equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and PDAF features on the main camera.
Hardware and software
As mentioned above, both devices rely on the same chipset, namely the MediaTek Dimensity 920 which is designed with 9nm fabrication. The chipset is divided into two classes.
The first cluster consists of two Cortex-A78 cores that offer a clock speed of 2.7 GHz, then the second cluster is filled with six Cortex-A55 cores with a 2 GHz clock speed. The graphics processor is also compact using the Mali-G68 MC4.
It’s just that, the difference lies in the variant of RAM and storage media (storage). The Infinix mobile RAM variant only offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while Realme consists of 8/12GB and 12/256GB.

Not only that, Realme 10 Pro Plus is equipped with an “Extended RAM” feature that allows the device to get an additional 18 GB of RAM. If accumulated, the RAM that the device has can be as large as 20 to 24 GB.
The operating system that runs is also different. Mobile phones made by Infinix run Android OS 12 which is polished with the XOS 12 interface, Realme smartphones run Android OS 13 which are coated with the realme UI 4.0 interface.
Battery and features
Turning to the durability and features presented, Realme 10 Pro Plus comes with a larger battery capacity than Infinix, which is 5,000mAH which supports 67 watt fast charging. The Infinix smartphone itself is equipped with a 4,500mAH battery with 180 watt fast charging.
The features presented by each device also vary. Infinix Zero Ultra supports 5G networks, Wi-Fi 5, dual-SIM, and Erdal Engine 3.0. Meanwhile, Realme comes with dual stereo speakers, a fingerprint sensor under the screen, Tactile Engine 2.0, and NFC.
