Universal Parks & Resort announced the creation of a theme park in Frisco, Texas, which will be designed to inspire fun for families with young children.
This new park will feature verdant landscaping, immersive themed areas and celebrate Universal’s entertainment, humor and innovation by bringing characters and stories to life in impressive ways.
According to Universal Parks and Resort, the park will be designed to be more welcoming and engaging for younger travelers, along with family-friendly attractions, interactive and playful shows, character encounters, exclusive merchandise, and restaurants.
This park will be located in an area of 40 hectares and it is also planned to build an adjacent theme hotel.
The goal of this project is for the area to have a completely different look, feel and scale than Universal’s existing parks and to attract new travelers.
Universal Parks & Resorts chose the city of Frisco to build this concept due to the city’s growing population and its ability to attract business. The park location will be situated east of Dallas North Tollway and north of Panther Creek Parkway.
At the moment, the date on which the park would be ready has not been announced, however it is good news for lovers of theme parks and fans of the world of Universal.
