Prince Harry attacked the media for highlighting what came in his memoirs, about his killing of 25 “Taliban” fighters while performing military service in Afghanistan, and accusing him of bragging about it.
He said in media remarks: “Without a doubt, the most dangerous lie they told is that I somehow bragged about the number of people I killed in Afghanistan.”
Prince Harry’s spare diary book (the alternative) achieved record sales within a few hours of its release in bookstores across the United Kingdom, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, and it has become the “fastest-selling” non-fiction book, with 400,000 copies sold out immediately, according to Britain’s Sky News.
Harry revealed many secrets of the British royal family from his point of view, such as his disagreement with his older brother, Prince Harry, and his dissatisfaction with the marriage of his father, King Charles, in addition to many details of his sexual life and his relationship with his wife, Megan Markle.
So far, no comment or reaction to his statements has appeared from Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace.
It is reported that the book will be available in 16 languages and in an audio version as well.
