Kompol Chuck Putranto admitted to asking Ferdy Sambo whether or not he participated in the shooting of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat. What prompted Ferdy Sambo, the former Korspri Kadiv Propam Polri, to ask his superiors who is a former two-star general?
It has been revealed Spindle when examined as a witness by the defendant, Former Wakaden B of Bureaupaminal Divpropam Polri AKBP Arif Rahman Arifin in the case of obstructing the investigation into the murder of Brigadier Yosua in South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (12/1/2022 ).
Initially, the prosecutor reconfirmed Chuck’s statement to the BAP, which said he had asked Sambo whether or not he participated in Yosua’s shooting. Chuck confirmed it too.
“Here Witness asked Witness Ferdy Sambo, ‘Is the General there? shoot’then he replied: ‘I don’t I shoot, cook you don’t believe me’. Then the Witness replied ‘Hello’. Is it true that you asked Sambo?” asked the prosecutor.
“Right,” Chuck replied.
“What’s the point of asking Sambo?” asked the prosecutor.
Chuck then told me how he got the nerve to ask Sambo. At first, Chuck said, after seeing CCTV that showed Joshua was still alive, a rebuild was taking place at Duren Tiga.
“So this is it, as soon as we finish looking at the situation, we become confused after seeing the accident, a reconstruction is done again when the prison is moved or withdrawn from Polres Metro to Polda, the reconstruction is done. At that time Ferdy Sambo and Putri should have come, but that didn’t happen. So just Ricky, Richard, Strong came. Richard was already at Mobile Brigade HQ,” Chuck said.
After seeing the reenactment, Chuck admits he’s confused. Chuck said the investigator at the time said the shot at Duren Tiga was appropriate.
“So just talking about the shooting and it was considered by the investigators at the time, what we heard was because there were investigators from Bareskrim, Labfor and Inafis, it was stated that this shot was right, it was appropriate. So we are also more confused, because this story is like that,” said Chuck.
With that in mind, Chuck said, he finally plucked up the courage to provoke questions about whether Sambo shot Joshua. After all, Chuck said, he already knew he was going to be placed in a special position (dipatsus).
“So when I dared to go fishing, the question was to provoke Sambo to tell me about my time before being discharged at that time, because I understood that I was going to be discharged, I just asked for this purpose.” Chuck said.
Presiding Judge Ahmad Suhel then asked why Chuck didn’t ask Sambo the day Joshua was shot. Chuck admits that he only dared to ask this question in August because Sambo was already in Yanma’s hands, which means that he no longer has a position in the police force.
“When asked about August, you already asked why not on that date at the next hour look that?” asked Chief Justice Ahmad Suhel.
“The situation at the time didn’t allow me to ask him,” Chuck replied.
“Why did you get angry twice before?” Judge Suhel asked.
“Exactly, Your Highness,” Chuck replied.
“After all, in the end, did you ask that too?” Judge Suhel asked.
“At that time it was Yanma pati,” Chuck replied.
“What is that?” Judge Suhel asked.
“Department in Yanma without department,” Chuck replied.
“So you dare to ask?” Judge Suhel asked.
“If it’s disabled, it’s still half, it’s still like Head of the Propam Division half not,” Chuck replied.
