Los Miami Heat they won 112-111 on Oklahoma City Thunder at the FTX Arena in a game that will go down in NBA history as the game in which a team has made the most free throws without missing.
The Heat went an unblemished 40-of-40 from the free throw line and they won the match thanks to a final free kick with 13 seconds left. Jimmy Butler, who scored 35 points and a spectacular 23-of-23 free throws.
The previous record for most free throws made in an NBA game by one team belonged to the Utah Jazz by their 39-for-39 against the Blazers on December 7, 1982.
Jimmy Bulter’s 23-of-23 free throws in a game tied Dominigue Wilkins’ second-best mark in NBA history. The record for most free throws made without a miss stands at 24 of 24, held by James Harden on December 3, 2019 and Dirk Nowitzki on May 17, 2011.
Dewayne Dedmon was ejected to the Heat for throwing an object onto the court while being substituted
