Hyundai Mobis, part of Hyundai Motor Group, showed better handling than the Ioniq 5 electric sedan.
Received four e-corner forms. Thanks to them, the electric car can turn all wheels 90 degrees. This allows the vehicle to “crab,” diagonally, sideways, or spin a tank in place.
For the latter, the car received the Zero turn function, which rotates the wheels 45 degrees. Another option is also possible: the front wheels are straight, and the rear wheels are turned 90 degrees, in this case the turning radius is larger.
Lateral guidance can be useful for parallel parking. So it’s much easier to “integrate” between machines.
So far, this version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is just a prototype. It is not known with what functions it will reach mass production. [Power Nation]
