Saudi victory: Ronaldo’s contract does not include promotion to host the 2030 World Cup

Al-Nasr Saudi Football Club has announced that the contract of its Portuguese player, Cristiano Ronaldo, with the team comes with no obligation to promote the practice to host the 2030 World Cup. The Portuguese striker has joined Al-Nasr last December 30, following his departure from Manchester United, where he signed a contract for two and a half seasons, Reports said the player will receive 200 million euros ($215 million) per season.
Reports have indicated that the deal includes an additional reward for serving as an ambassador for the Saudi bid to host the World Cup, as the Middle East aims to host another tournament after the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Al-Nasr has strongly denied allegations that Ronaldo would be offered an additional reward to secure the organization of the World Cup, as Spain, Ukraine and his country Portugal, among others, will file joint files to host the tournament.
And Al-Nasr said in a statement: Al-Nasr Club would like to clarify that, contrary to news reports, Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nasr does not contain any obligations related to the file to host the World Cup, and the his main focus is on winning and he works with his colleagues to help the team achieve success.
