Inexpensive supply paradise
A Tank ONO petrol station is located in Štěrboholy in Prague, and there is another one a little further away in Dolní Měcholupy. The prices are the same for both, you can fill up with diesel here for 35.90 CZK and petrol for 34.90 CZK. There are long queues for cheap fuel every day and almost every hour. They also often interfere with adjacent roads and delay traffic.
At the same time, there is a Petronal gas station 2.4 kilometers away, which offers exactly the same prices and there are hardly any queues, as we personally saw on Tuesday, January 10th. The same goes for the Prim gas station, less than three kilometers from the ONO Tank in Dolní Měcholupy. Also pleasing is the fact that none of them appear on the map with low quality fuel (see link above).
At the same time, we found out with fuel expert Jiří Kaloč whether the low prices for Tank ONO have an effect on other gas stations. “It shouldn’t have any effect, each petrol station has its own pricing policy,” he told Autosalon.
