The New York Giants are increasing the depth of their roster heading into the playoffs, by signing James Washington to the practice squad. This is reported by NFL insider Adam Schefter. The wide receiver was last under contract with the Dallas Cowboys but was released on Wednesday. The 26-year-old had just 15 offensive snaps in two games with the Cowboys and missed the rest of the season with foot surgery. The receiver had his most successful stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who drafted him in the second round in 2018. During his career, he caught 114 passes for 1,629 yards and 11 touchdowns. Whether or not Washington gets playoff time in the G-Men remains to be seen.
